Grooming tip bun that won’t be held!

Hey all,

mid you have seen my previous posts you’ll know I have a spicy little bun ironically called Mellow.

Mellow won’t be picked up not will she stay still for groom or tolerate the feel of a brush.

The vets have tried for me but they bearly mange to hold her for her nail trim let alone a groom.

I wanted to let you know we have had a break through - a tooth brush!

the amount of hair I’ve got out of her in the last 24 hours is insane. It’s taking a long time as I have to empty the tooth brush every 2 seconds but it’s worth it.

I’m hoping I can start slowly increasing the size of the brush.

if anyone else has any tips for grooming a rabbit that won’t be held please let me know!

Not sure if this works for bunnies with longer fur (I have a rex bun) but plucking with my fingers always works. The only time I pick my bun up is if I need to cut his nails, put him in his carrier or be a selfish bunny hooman and put him on my bed to watch tv.

Also; loving the ironic name haha
