I have an abundance of little bluestem grass on my property. The wild bunnies love it. Does anyone know about using this for bunny hay? (in addtion to timothy hay)

I wouldn't recommend drying it on your own unless you know how to dry hay properly. It can mold easily if it's not dried right. But you should be able to pick some and feed it fresh as a treat.

Thanks!! Yeah, I will just pick it. I don't know anything about drying hay and that's a good point about the mold.

This may sound like a bit of a silly question, but do you have hot water cylinder cupbords in the US? I cut and dry grass hanging it over my hot water tank and it is usually lovely after a week in there.

Yeah we do. I ought to look into that. Maybe I'll do a little research.

It is so hot and dry outside now that it is pratically hay when I pick it from the ground.
