I have a 2 year old mini Rex and he was my old show rabbit but I don't want to put him in to show. So he is now a pet . But I want to get another rabbit I'm thinking a polish but I'm worried about them getting along and I don't want to upset my current rabbit what should I do?

Breed makes no difference when it comes to bonding. The important thing is to have your boy neutered first. Once he's fixed, he'll need up to 6-8 weeks after the surgery for hormones to fully dissipate. Those pesky hormones need to be gone to facilitate a bond.

Once that's done, then you may introduce him to other fixed rabbits. This is to pre-screen for potential compatibility. When bonding rabbits, it is your rabbit that should do the choosing.
