EXTREMELY short nail

Why does this nail look like this?
Could it have broken and healed on it’s own? Should I be worried?

It could have broken off, or your rabbit could have chewed it down if it was causing some sort of irritation. The main thing is to make sure it doesn't get infected or abscess when growing back in, if it grows back in.

If there isn't any swelling or signs of infection, I would just keep an eye on it as it continues to regrow. But if you have any concerns there's something wrong besides a broken nail regrowing, it's always best to have your rabbit checked by a knowledgeable rabbit vet.
