excited bunny??

My year old bunny gets all hyper when im around. runs around the cage and jumps around... normally she is calm and runs from me.. now she runs to me... is she excited or why is she doing this??

Sounds like she is pleased to see you, if she is running/binkying towards you, but if it is lunging I suppose she could be angry you are approaching her territory? It’s all in the body language and sounds. But she is probably excited that you might be bringing food or letting her out

Well, rabbits seem to be couch potatoes most of the time but they have their times when they are active, run around, etc. My buck runs around the house, jumps on the bed (and on me) when I don't get up in time, early morning is his most active time. Most of the rest of the day I have to step over him wherever he flopped or pancaked.

They are just wide awake then, and hoping for treats or being fed, I think.
