Hey guys, the council in my area of Sydney has just trimmed a lot of gumtrees because they were interfering with the power lines, is it ok for Shida to chew on these branches or are they poison to rabbits?
Thanks in advance

I don't have much experience with Eucalyptus (expect Eucalyptus oil :p ) so I'm not too sure about the branches. I've heard of people giving their degus or sugargliders Eucalyptus branches to chew on, but not rabbits. According to this link: http://www.adoptarabbit.org/articles/toxic.html, rabbits shouldn't eat Eucalyptus. But I'm not sure if that's just the leaves or anything from the tree in general?

No, rabbits should not have eucalyptus leaves, branches or timber. They will make Shida sick.
