I just caught Foo eating cat food.
She was standing behind my cat as she was eating, chinning her and sniffing her. Then she went to the food bowl when my cat was done, she chinned the bowl and then ATE some!

So I gave her her salad and after she finished her salad she went back to the cat food.

What is going on? Why would she want to eat the cat food, it stinks!

Most cat food usually has a corn filler in it. I guess that's why it might taste good to a rabbit. You could try putting the bowl up high where your cat can get to it but Foo can't.

I put it up high after she went back to it after eating her salad. She's searching for it now! Its not the best cat food (Purina Cat Chow), so it has corn and probably all kinds of sweet sugary fillers in it.

I had a french lop that would be so happy if the kids left the pantry door open. He'd go straight to the shelf with potato chips. Funny thing was that he'd seek out one particular flavor -- the sweet maui onion chips!
More than once, I caught him with his whole head buried in the chip bag.
