I have a pet Lop doe that currently has 4 kits. They are indoor pets & the kits are 4 weeks old.
The doe feeds them while I am watching TV, about 8-45-9pm at night, but I notice she won't feed them, unless I move out of view!

Just wondering why this is :) ?

She must like her privacy

I've caught only a couple of does feeding babies but I'm not around them every day. Some does are just more shy I guess

If you think about it, feeding kits puts both the doe and the kits in a very vulnerable state. She obviously only feels safe to do this if no one is watching :)
