I was reading a posting about kitts and the person said that three of their kits were either runts or peanuts.

What does that mean?:?

A runt is a kit that, in the womb, didn't quite get as much as the others so when born is smaller than everyone else. With special care, it can survive. Sometimes they will survive on their own without human help.

A peanut is small like the runt however, the difference is, it is genetic. A peanut WILL not survive. It recieved the "double dwarf gene". Peg gave a link about peanuts.
