We have a lavender plant that i see the wild buns eat alot. But i was wondering if it was safe for domestic buns? Id love to give it to my babies as a treat.

Its not a butterfly bush (real name is Buddleia ) its French lavender .

Definitely not lavender, but a very pretty plant :)

This is French Lavender.

Lavender has very particular flower growth. Like a lollipop almost when looking at the English variety.
It also has a certain flower shape.
The leaves are also far to wide to be lavender.
The shape of those flowers and leaves are not lavender.
But heres some butterfly bush flowers.

Sorry about the mix up. The HOA said it was lavender. Guess they were wrong. :

I have no idea if it's safe for bunnies though :p if the wild ones are eating it I would think it's ok.I would just be sure to pick leaves etc from the top where the wild rabbits can't reach, you don't want to inadvertently pass an illness onto your bunns from the wild ones.
