hello everyone! I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction. My female Flemish giant appears to sound like she has a cold. She normal makes a honking noise when she is excited but her noise sounds more like the sniffles. She has a lot of build up in her ears that is light brownish. She is still eating and drinking. She still is playful. I’m just not sure if there is anything I could do for her.

thank you for reading!

They could have a sinus infection. Or ear infection since some build up in their ear was noticed. I would try to make a Vet appointment as soon as possible.

Do you have any pictures of her ears? That’ll help use figure out what’s going on. And does she have any coloured fluid (white, green, yellow etc) around her nose at all?

rabbits can get “snuffles” which is pretty much a bunny cold, but requires vet care as soon as possible
