Can my bunny get sick from me?

I am getting lots of different people telling me different things about Bonnie get sick from me being sick. When we first got her from the humane society they said it was a possibility that she could get sick. Then my Aunt looked it up on a Bunny information website and it said Bonnie couldn’t get sick from me being sick and holding her. Please rely if you know something! Thank you!![emoji173]️

Hello, are you talking about cold or flu? If so, then I have read on various sources that the bunnies CANNOT catch a cold or flu from humans. I was concerned as well, but I was recently sick, and although I washed my hands as many times as possible, the bunnies never got sick regardless (I think they got into a few used tissues that fell out of my trashcan).

I am not sure about things such as stomach flu or e-coli, but I am pretty sure you cannot give them the flu, nor can they give you snuffles.
