colored with carmine and annatto extract.

I have currently been using Feline Pine cat litter for them. For anyone unfamiliar with it, here is the product:

Nope, waaaaayyyyyyy too much sugar. It could easily upset a bunny stomach. Plus rabbits tend to be lactose intolerant so milk products are also a no-go.

Instead, why not give a small piece of fresh strawberry? Fresh fruits make great treats. Other good treats are a pinch of rolled oats (Quaker Old Fashioned Oatmeal), small piece of carrot, raisins, or craisins (dried cranberries).

Feline Pine is a great rabbit litter. I love wood pellets. But you can save a lot of money by buying the cheaper versions from feed stores. I pay about $5 for a 35 lb bag. Some common feed store brands are Woody Pet, Equine Pine, and Eagle Valley ABM.

Do those alternative litters break down the way Feline Pine does? I actually wonder if it would work for my cats, too.

When I started buying Feline Pine, it was under $2.50 a bag. It's now over $3.70 a bag. A local store had it on sale, $3.00 per bag so I bought a few. I LOVE the brand, but not the price.

I dont have any fruits onhand, but plan on going shopping before I go to work tonite (I work 3rd shift) so later tonite, and tomorrow I'll be more set.

Yes, the other litters work exactly the same. Each brand has a different pellet size, smell, etc. The ones I use look larger than Feline Pine and cats might not like them. I've never tried with my kitties.
