Does anyone have their SOP handy? I just weighed my 4-1/2 month old junior buck today, and the scale said he's 7 lbs 14 oz!

I just wanted to make sure I don't need to redo his entry as an intermediate because of weight. Our fair is next week.

On another exciting note, I weighed my two 7 week old Californians (the two I'm keeping out of the litter), and they were 3 lbs 10oz and 4 lbs--they each gained at least a pound just in the last week! And to think I had a hard time getting my 10 week old kits in high school to get that 3-1/2 lb minimum weight mark! :D I very much like my new stock!

I found this in an old post by GoinBacktoCali from when we were working on a section for information on the breeds.

The Showroom weights for the Californian are as follows:

Senior Bucks-8 months of age and over, weight 8-10 lbs. Ideal weight 9 lbs.
Senior Does-8 months of age and over, weight 8 1/2-10 1/2 lbs. Ideal weight 9 1/2 lbs.
Int Bucks-under 8 months of age, not over 9 lbs.
Int Does-under 8 months of age, not over 9 1/2 lbs.
Jr. Bucks-under 6 months of age, not over 8 lbs. Min weight 5 1/2 lbs.
Jr. Does-under 6 months of age, not over 8 1/2 lbs. Min weight 5 1/2 lbs.
Pre-Jr. Bucks & Does- under 3 months of age, not over 5 1/2 lbs.
