Bunny sleeping like crazy!

Recently I had 2 kits. Now they are 20 days old.However one of them is half the size of another even though they were born together.
It worried me initially but now he eats a lil and seems fine.
Though since the last week he has developed a very weird sleeping habit.
He sleeps upside down anywhere in the house for hours without a worry.
Even any noise doesn't seem to bother him at all.

I really find it weird for a bunny to sleep like this, since the other kit is so alert all the time(typical bunny instinct).

Have a look at the pic below. Also, look at the size difference between them. Can anyone please tell me is this normal??

I would say that's it a peanut, but peanuts don't ever survive. So I don't know

Doubtful it's a peanut. It looks healthy other than being small. Probably just a runt. As long as he eats well and is filled out and not boney, I wouldn't worry about his size. Though if he is skinny, has a pot belly, rough coat, then you will need to take steps to help him.

As for the sleeping, that is a normal thing for some to do, just not as common. I had a baby bun that slept like that and grew up perfectly healthy. When they're inclined to sleep like that it usually means they are a pretty chill bun and less inclined to get nervous about things. Sleeping like that also makes them less easily startled by things.

He eats a lil besides the fact the mommy bunny takes care of him too as of now.
Yeah he's pretty chill and no sound seems to bother him much.

Though when he was born his skin was shrinked and tail was too small. There was a thread like thing stuck beneath his tail by birth which eventually the mommy bunny fixed while grooming I guess.

They look very peaceful and probably need to sleep more while they're still growing so rapidly. If they don't exhibit other curious symptoms, you're probably in good shape. As an aside, it's always good to know the nearest rabbit veterinary specialists (i.e. REALLY go see someone that knows rabbit, not some run of the mill vet that sees usually dogs and cats) and also consider pet insurance (we use Nationwide and have been happy with them).

As to normal, who knows. My avatar, Nikki would sleep like that for hours, even in her hay rack.
