Hi everyone,
My bunny loves chewing this bounty paper towel I dropped on the floor.
He has plenty of chew toys (wood, cardboard, dig box, more sticks, etc). But, he's more into shredding the paper towel. Should I allow this to continue? I think it's more entertaining to him than any of the stuff I bought him  Just concerned it may affect his GI health

I also let my old rabbit shred paper towels and it never affected him I was just told to always not give him a lot. I would limit how much you let him have.

No not at all. You can even give them these kind of things! Actually while chewing, they sharpen their teeth. But be aware of the colored papers or tissues. Because those colors are not hygienic also not digestible.

If he's ingesting the paper towel it can indeed cause a blockage. If he is shredding it but not swallowing it, then that would be ok. Be sure he is munching on plenty of hay because it is the hay that keeps things moving through the gut.
