Ok, I never had this happen with a bunny before. But I recently ended up keeping a foster bunny who was dumped. no clue about his breed or age, I just know he's a he and is healthy at 2.9 lbs. When I first arrived he was a solid milk chocolate brown now his fur is darkening but only in certain areas. There are no signs of skin issues, mites, or fleas. etc. And no signs of molting for the coming winter. He's even been vet-checked just two weeks ago.

And he gets the same food, veg and care as my other bunny. Food is science select adult, with a variety of field greens, the occasional grape or apple piece. all topped with lots of timothy and oat grass hay.
