I have had a male or two with dewlaps and they both were definitely males. Both appear to be mini Rex, and cute too!

If the fur stands up for Rex breeds, it does on his little face, but the fur seems to lay mostly flat over his body. Which leads me to believe he may be a mix of French or other breed. Who knows, it could just be from petting him. His personality is really warming up and now he is fully potty trained! Smart little fellow, as most buns are! Being an animal guardian never felt soo good. Rex is good for me as it is good for him; I told Doozy earlier and he approved. :thumbup

If your rabbit has a dewlap or a "poof" then it is a female :happyrabbit:

Dewlaps are primarily found on females, as their purpose is to give the female a good spot to pull fur from when building a nest before kindling; however, they are occasionally found on males

Spent lots of time with Doozy lately, and he is definitely Rex. I got to examine his features up close. His fur does stand straight up, and he seems to be getting softer now that it is winter.
