Breeding Tri-Color to Orange

I have a possibility to get an orange Holland Lop doe from a well respected breeder in Florida as a match for my tri-colored buck. I know that Agouti is very dominant, but my question stems from the fact that I am new to the tri/harli gene. I am wondering if I will get only solid and broken oranges from this pairing? Thanks in advance!

Agouti is desired when breeding tris. Using selfs can result in "torted tris". You tris "should" be agouti for proper coloration.

I hear that. So it's definitely a good idea, then, and the offspring won't be 100% solid oranges or broken oranges?

And generally, then, a tri should not be bred to a self. Thank you for the explanation.

Tri is actually dominant to orange. So if the tri doesn't carry orange, you'll actually get litters of all harlis and tris.
