this question is for anyone who understands rabbit genetics and colors, because I certainly don’t lol. I would appreciate any feedback!
I am receiving a lovely Japanese lilac harlequin Netherland Dwarf buck, and I would like to know what colors would work best to breed either more harlequin or to get tri colored rabbits. The buck is homozygous for harlequin so all of his offspring will have the gene.
The does that I currently have are a broken chocolate, and a smoke pearl.
Can I breed him with these does to produce more harlequin or even tri color?
If I can’t breed him to the does I already have, what colors would work best?
