It's hard to tell; the ears don't always grow at the same rate. They don't look exceptionally long to me but if they are already 3 inches i would keep an eye on it. Usually a rabbit with ear length issues also goes over the weight limit, in my experience. "Summer ears" aren't entirely because of the summer. Some people say they're just when a rabbit has genetically long ears, and the summer heat makes them grow to their full length faster than rabbits born in winter. Some people say they're just genetically longer ears.
