I have had my baby Jameson for just about a month. On Thursday he will be 3 months old. He is a little polish dwarf. Tonight while playing I noticed a bald patch on his back. It is not flakey at all and I haven’t noticed him chewing or scratching that area. I have read about mites being possible, but like I said it’s not flakey. Could it be from him shedding? He doesn’t shed very much if at all. I included picture. You can see the skin and you can tell even when the fur is down that there’s a bald spot.

It may just be from growth and shedding. I have a lionhead that is only a few months old and she sheds like crazy. She has a bald spot on her stomach that is from excessive shedding. If you notice fur on your hands after petting him, try lightly brushing him. If the hair nots up, don't yank it. That will also cause bald spots
