Hello,

does anybody know which baby food is safe for bunnys to eat. Bambi has just has surgery and slow to eat hard food but she is eating.I managed to get a carrot puree which she goes mad for but im aware of the risks of too much carrot so im looking for other baby food, mush, puree that would be safe. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Something with broccoli in would be perfect. I have noticed alot of them have added lemon/citrus juices which are a massive no no.

You can make a slurry from her pellets by soaking in warm water, then see if she will eat it on her own, or syringe feed using a large tip oral syringe so it doesn't clog. Or phone your vet and pick up some recovery food from them to syringe feed, like oxbow critical care or science select recovery food. You may also be able to pick some up at pets at home or other pet store.
