So, if I sell some mini lops in the future, do you have to put a sales tax on? I’m curious to see what everyone else does? Breeders, I’d like to hear what you do. I’m not certain if it’s a requirement by the state. And I couldn’t really find information about it, but I live in WA.

Technically you should report all income on your taxes, including rabbit sales afaik. IMO I would find it very off-putting and impersonal if somebody added a sales tax on a rabbit. That's something a pet store would do, not a person.

As long as you make less than $500 in indirect sales (eg, selling to a pet store who will then sell to a buyer) you don't have to register your rabbitry with the USDA so most rabbitries are more or less off the books.
