So this was brought up in an introduction topic, so I thought I would start a topic of it's own.
A lot of owners won't feed their mature rabbits alfalfa because of concerns that it is too rich in calcium and protein.
I do not know about the protein part, but I recall recently randy or tonyshuman saying something about the idea that alfalfa can cause health problems, including bladder sludge, is outdated...
I can't remember exactly what was said.
So the point of this topic is to explore and discuss these points:

So the point of this topic is to explore and discuss these points:
- The Nutritional Worth of Alfalfa in a Rabbit's Diet
- The potential risks from a diet that includes Alfalfa
- Alongside the theory that Alfalfa can lead to bladder sludge
- The Nutritional difference between Alfalfa and Lucerne
