Is readigrass safe for rabbits? I’m only asking coz I have read reviews on amazon where people claim it helped rabbit digestion and improved the appetite. Thank you. Readigrass 15% - 15 kgDefault Title

It looks like readigrass is like orchard grass but has mostly ryegrass. From my research ryegrass is safe for rabbits.

No. I don't recommend it. Not a good substitute for long stemmed grass hay. It is quite rich and some bunnies get gassy on it. It is freeze dried rather than sun dried. I would only ever consider it if I cannot get bunny to eat any other hay at all.

On foraging; I wish I had read about how feces and urine from other wildlife could give our bunnies some bad parasites and illnesses. And now, there is a virus killing domestic and wild rabbits, a virus that killed millions of rabbits in Australia.
