We just got a 7wk old kitten-I felt it would be a good idea to get her used to Ripley on early on. Kitty had already had a checkup at the vet and had no fleas etc, so that wasn't a concern. Normally Ripley is good with other bunnies, so I figured he would do fine. I brought the kitten into the room where Ripley primarily stays in his xpen. At first he seemed interested and came up and sniffed. I stayed right by them to keep things in hand. The longer he sniffed however, he began running back and forth grunting and growling. The kitten was completely cool with everything and not phased by it. I picked her up and brought her out of the room.
I realize the first mistake was not bringing them into a neutral space, but what other things should I do to help Ripley adjust to a kitty? Thanks
