[Jurassic Lagomorph]

Is a 5x7 with two levels (70 sq ft) a big enough space for two rabbits with 1 hour of free roam time per day?

Also, since they'd be outside is it ok to have a rug in the run and bedding in the house part? Would they be too cold in the run?

The size is fine if the levels aren't too crowded with other things.

Having a rug outdoors runs the risk of attracting pests and/or mold. You'd have to keep an eye on that. I'd also suggest a litter box for ease of cleaning.

Without a photo, though, it is difficult to give a thumbs up on any enclosure. There are other factors to consider like shade, exposure, wind protection, etc.

Thanks! I'm going to be adopting two rabbits, so they're already litter trained. Would washable pee pads be better? Also what should I use in the house part where they sleep, in the winter? I want to use straw but I don't want to confuse them on where to go
