2nd time owner - Felt like I made mistakes the first time

So I lost my sweet bun September 2019 suddenly and of course I felt like I made mistakes with her. She was a rescue abandoned by her old owners I knew nothing about her age, breed anything. At first I didn't even know what gender she was.

So with this second one can people give me some advice so I don't feel like I would make the same mistakes again.

This was my first bun Kai I sure do miss her.
