Hey guys! If you are going here is the official picture thread!

We are packed up and on our way. We aren't driving the whole night through but well try to get to Texarkana by tonight. I'm super excited!! Got alot of rabbits sold and am picking up a couple. We're also transporting quite a few for some people. Ill try to take tons of pics like I did at convention. It nice when I have a handy new iPhone :D

Here are the carriers

Travel Safe!! I'll be there with just two carriers(of coarse I only live 3 hours from Louisville anyway), Good thing you didn't make it in today- we had a large cell of bad storms come through today(Thursday) that supposedly spun off a few tornado's (I don't know if there's any truth to that, that was hearsay at work tonight).
Good LUck! I've got 7 dutch entered myself and 1 netherland buck for my aunt.

I will have to look for you! What are your coops under? Mine are Sarah. I think I'm the only Sarah. Ill have some 9weeks old blue juniors so if you come by look for them! We're driving through the rest of the way today. People told us we have to see Tennessee and Kentucky in the daylight to sight see because its beautiful. As of right now our ETA is 4:42pm. We're just headed out of little rock and it should be a pretty drive :) ill post pics when I get them

KY is beautiful! (Coming from someone that insisted she'd never be happy leaving Upstate NY-Southern Adirondacks), but I'm not cooping, just doing the double show on Sunday- I'll be looking around though! I want to learn at least a couple other breeds and see them!

How'd you do?? I never really got over to the Tans much! There was a ton of really nice ones still there on Sunday! The show was horribly disorganized. Paperwork was in shambles for the Sunday shows- at least in the dutch! We only had about 60 dutch present and we were all over the map with them- some weren't even recorded as entered, others were recorded as jrs that were entered as sr's (They ended up not getting theirs shown as by the time they got to the table we were already on jr bucks and the judge isn't supposed to go back and re-do the sr bucks again because hers were listed as jrs) Tim Wiley's never got onto the list at all, so he just handed them a photocopy of what he entered so the writers could write it all down. it was a mess. It would certainly do better with a bit more organization. Hopefully next year we can be more organized.
Signs to get into the right place would have been handy too. we had to stop and ask for directions around the expo center. But I did get a BOSV leg on my black sr doe, my blue sr buck and a BOV leg on my steel sr doe- which grands out my blue and steel, and I think that puts the black's 5th or 6th leg on her. Couldn't find the registrar long enough to get them granded- they're already registered.

We did okay. I wasn't sure how I would do especially with 8week old babies lol. I had no real time to take a look around or snap pics so I took most of these from the tan Facebook page. Photo credit is to Emma Persoon.

OMG, the Nationals check-in was just as disorganized. Took me 3 hours to finally get my check in sheet Friday (many were not even printed in time for check in!) It took another hour to pick up our parking pass for the Expo Center and it took another 45 minutes to pay for our entry. Soooo disorganized! :banghead We were supposed to stay and do Show A for Sunday and the line to check in and the line to pay was so ridiculously long I waited until the check in line got short and just paid our entry fees and scratched everyone right there...it was only $18. It was a little crazy Sunday morning anyway trying to pick up rabbits and deliver rabbits for transporting. Glad you did well with your Dutch!

I heard that it was really really disorganized. I'm kinda glad that I didn't go because, while I try to be a "roll with the punches" kind of person...I'm not. I don't mind a bit of drama or wait at such a large show but I heard some people were there until 2am trying to get checked in AND THEN their hotel had overbooked so they didn't actually have a room reservation that they had booked months ago! Eeek!

Short on cooping. Yeah I hope they learned from this and can improve for next year, if they don't, I know I'm not returning. I'll skip it for my sanity!
One of the others that showed with me (Catherine) her 4H club was in charge of setting up the cooping and her two boys her and I think a couple others did as much as they could- they were still there LATE tearing stuff down on Sunday. They were horribly understaffed. Catherine and I tried field as many questions as possible but I don't know if it worked horribly well. And we sat together and Carla was next to us, when they'd call dutch, I'd put my carriers with Catherine's, her and the boys would take them over, yell to Carla at the same time, and I'd go get Tim Wiley. They just needed something!
Congrats on Seashell!! I went through the Tans, I was looking for any sale ones, I figured most of the sale ones were gone by Sunday though. I almost went home with a pair of Checkereds but I knew my cages weren't big enough for them!

Thank you! Yea most of the stuff we brought was Pre-sold. Checkereds! Man is that a rabbit I wish I could try out. Check In was a dream for my national show at the tan booth LOL
