    Help, Bonding Buns Fighting

Well, they have been living together for the past few weeks. They have a cage, and a pen surrounding the cage, and have free roam of the pen. They have their play time, in which they maygo away from eachother, but a few moments later, Kaylee is following Jayne around. They'd done well. They...

    Help, Bonding Buns Fighting

That makes sense. I knew Kaylee didn't like the new bun because the new bun is probably a female, and a threat. I was wondering if Jayne was just asserting his dominance, and showing the new bun that he's the boss. I'm going to let Jayne and Kaylee out together, but away from the cage so they...

    Help, Bonding Buns Fighting

I brought a new bun home. A lionhead, and I think it's female. My other female, Kaylee didn't like her, and was nipping at her through the bars of the pen. Jayne, my male, was caring towards the new bun and was grooming her through the bars of the pen. That night, I had put Jayneand Kaylee in...

    Jayne and Kaylee

Alright. So work has been pretty hectic, so I haven't really had time for the buns this last week or two. I would get back late, let them out for an hour or so, so my thing on my computer, then put them back in their pen when I'm ready to sleep. Today, they got all evening to run around. I...

Clare Girl Bullied To Death In The US

Before middle school, I lived in Florida. I went to a higher end prep school (military, actually) where a lot of the students had high profile parents (kings, ambassadors, etc). There were so many ethnicities, there was no bullying about that. But those of us who parents worked for a living, and...

    Food allergies

My doctors have told me that because I developed the allergies young, and because I am female, that I am unlikely to grow out of them. A boy with allergies really young will have a high chance of growing out of the allergies. I have a milk allergy, and it's not digestive, which is odd, I...

    Food allergies

I grew up in Texas and Florida. When we lived in Texas, when I was really little, my parents had I think 3 cats. They fed me the normal baby food, but apparently I went to solids really early. As far as I know, allergies can be there since you were born, or they can develop out of nowhere...

    Food allergies

Thank you for that support. It seems like I will never get to the maintenance dose, and I just keep reacting and we go down to the bottom and go back up. I have 3 different vials, thus 3 different injections. But when I react, there aren't any swelling or redness at the site, so we don't...

    Jayne and Kaylee

So, when I feed the buns, they pretty much eat away from eachother. Not when it comes to carrots. I give them each their own bunch of carrots, and they go to one, and fight over it! I tried luring Kaylee to eat from my hand like Jayne does. She started and then Jayne nudged her and she jumped...

    Food allergies

My family has never coddled me in my condition. And my philosophy is that why should anyone else not be able to eat it if I can't eat it, when it's safe for me, of course. We go out to eat, and I just make sure I find a dish that I can eat. There's always steak and chicken dishes, and if...

    Food allergies

It may not be on their menu, but if they accommodate to the allergies, they will gain more business. Maybe people may not go to a place because they're not so sure the place will accommodate to certain allergies, but if they find out the restaurant will accommodate, they may frequent there when...

    Food allergies

I have heard of people being allergic to only certain things, but not others. It's because the other foods are not in the same food family as the allergen. Like I'm only allergic to wheat-gluten, but not any other kind of gluten. I have an actual allergy, and I have no digestive issues with it...

    Food allergies

Even in Springfield, there aren't a lot of gluten free menus and if there are, they basically say bring your own bread, and ask for no bread on the food. I have to go to St. Louis to get an actual gluten free menu, but that's an hour and a half away. I don't want to drive that far for a meal...

    Food allergies

I've explained at so many places, and some of them are just like 'well, it's in the dish, so you have to eat it'. Before when I could have dairy, I would go to dairy queen, and ask for them to even wipe down the machine between mine and another's order, but they said they can't do that. I've had...

Piercing-do not read if your squeimish!

I've always been jealous of Roller Derby girls. They're a lot stronger and a lot braver than me. I just stay at home and knit and spin. It's a lot less dangerous, lol. I guess those pointy needles are pretty good weapons, though.

    Your Dream Location

I really want to live on Maui. I've been there twice, and the weather is great, the humidity is the right amount, there's no bugs, few birds, and no allergens (got seasonal allergies). I don't want to live down near the beach, though. I don't like tourists, and consider myself as a 'visitor'...

    Food allergies

This is just kind of a rant. I'm not real happy with the Mexican restaurant in my town. Last night, I went to the Mexican restaurant, and with my food allergies, it's a little hard to eat out. With that restaurant, it was the tomato and dairy allergies. Everything is either covered in cheese...

    Jayne and Kaylee

Alright, so day two of bonding without the bars. I've been gone most of the night at a knitting group. I came back and let the buns out to keep the bonding up. They were running around for a while, then got into a corner, and Jayne mounted Kaylee on the front. She let him do that for a few...

    Jayne and Kaylee

It was really cute. Then it turned into them just touching faces with their eyes closed. That's a good sign, right? I'm glad he didn't mount her. I would have had to get him off, and I'd have some very unhappy buns on my hands. He was very caring, let her do her own thing, and when she came back...

Likes to hang out on top of her cage

If she's not getting stuck, I don't think it's a problem. My male jumps on top of his cage, and it has bars with a blanket over it. As long as she isn't sitting for long periods of time up there, I don't think it should be an issue.
