    Help! Fighting Bunnies!

So just a little update. Today was sad, first when I opened D'arcy's temporary cage, he and Bailiey were reaching for each other, trying to be close. I felt bad but kept them separated. Today my fiance and I built them a new cage. Now its like two identical cages of the first cage, only attached...

    Help! Fighting Bunnies!

Hey everyone, thank you to all of you who understand my situation. I am still working towards a solution. I am really torn. I think they seem lonely without each other. Bailey was trying to get out of the cage after I took D'arcy away (he never tries to get out unless I have closed the door...

    Help! Fighting Bunnies!

I have called around and got some prices, it really varies. And I really dont want to separate them forever. They already look lonely being...

    Help! Fighting Bunnies!

:tears2: So my bunnies are about 6 months old now maybe 7, They are two unneutered males. I know I should have them fixed but its SO EXPENSIVE.... SO EXPENSIVE. Anyways, things have been fine, except for this new marking thing that they started like a few weeks ago, its a pain for me to clean up...

    Noisy, Noisy Destruction

Its pretty light and its plastic so I don't think they are going to get hurt. There isn't really any way to secure it. My theory is that either they like flipping it over, or they don't like it anymore. Iunno, they like jumping ontop of it too. So I think you're right, its probably just a game.

    Noisy, Noisy Destruction

Ok, So bailey and d'arcy have started having this incredibly annoying habit. At first they only did it at night, now they do it during the day and during the night. They will flip over their house and then it crashes around their cage and lands either upside down or on its side, and then its in...

    Yay Success!

I am really glad to be able to say that I just successfully clipped D'arcy and Bailey's nails for the first time. It actually went really well. The bunny burrito failed, and it actually turned out to be easier to just have them in one of our laps, while the other cut the nails and sometimes use...

    Peeing in two places.

So I went out and bought them a new litter box, a cat litter box, and it takes up both corners and it seems to be catching like 99% of the hay . I am not sure if they are using it for its intended purpose yet, or just to make a mess of hay in, but hopefully it works out! wish me luck! Thanks for...

    Peeing in two places.

Ok, so they are peeing in the litterbox sometimes, and also peeing in the corner next to it. The also still dont poo in the litterbox, just near it. So I am thinking of maybe just getting a larger litter box or a container that functions as one, and putting it so it takes up that side of the...

    Yikes! Dirty Bunny!

Ok, So I took out my bunnies as usual to let them have some out of cage time, and I picked up D'arcy and I was like phew, he smells bad, and I looked and he had a giant mass of poop all matted and clumped between his rear legs. The ball was pretty solid and would not come off. He also had a few...

    Smelly Cage/Not eating as much

Basically when I first got Bailey and D'arcy they would eat a lot, I would have to completely refill their bowl every day. Now they hardly eat much from it and they don't eat much hay either. The other day I gave them some carrots and they ate them. They are still eating and drinking, but just...

    Handling

Once I am holding them I do pet them and calm them before I move them into the spare cage, but I still have a hard time trying to get them to let me pick them up. Its always a case of me waiting and then catching them, because if they think I am going to pick them up, they will run away...

    Handling

Secondly, When we take them out we open the cage door and put out their little rug and sit around it as to monitor them. I got d'arcy to let me pet him once the other day, but I haven't been able to repeat it. They are curious and not afraid when they come out and they explore around and...

    Cleaning/ Litter

Ok, so I've had D'arcy and Bailey for more than a week now. My first question is: I can't seem to get them to poop in their litter... and they poop so much that the cage is seriously disastrous every day. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get them completely litter trained? I've been...

NIC Cage, Bunny stuck! Please Help!

Thanks for all your welcomes and replies already :D its super appreciated! Right now I am leaning towards using one of those methods to make the spaces smaller. The NIC crates I bought were the small sized ones. I am really trying to get them litter trained, I feel kinda like I'm unsure of...

NIC Cage, Bunny stuck! Please Help!

Ok, this morning I awoke to hear scrambling sounds inside my bunnies cage. They are only 8 weeks old, I got them just the day before yesterday and last night I finally completed their NIC cage and moved them into it. I was super excited. When I went to check the cage this morning, D'arcy was on...
