Ive seen Dutch/Dwarf mixes, but I dont that that there are purebred mini dutches. Dutch rabbits stay pretty small anyway- My dutch boy Smudge is only 4.5 lbs, and our other dutch was 6 lbs last time we weighed him... But hes kinda pudgey, LOL

Smudge LOVES those yogurt drops too! He only gets them on rare occasions though... they arent very good for them. He also loves raisens, craisens, and the home made treats I bake for him. He loves pieces of fruit too :)

Getting My Smudge neutered was $362! Haha, I bet no one will beat that price. But Smudge is an older rabbit, so I had blood work done and 2 X-rays taken, so thats included in the price, along with Baytril and Metecam and the neuter itself. I have an awesome vet, and getting Smudge fixed there...

Haha, thats ok! She isnt slimy at all. Millipedes have a really hard exosketelon, kind of like a hermit crab. She does tickle though! ;)

You could use a grid as a ramp, but cut it in half or something so it doesnt block as much space. :) Or how about those steps that the make for dogs to help them get up on furniture? Smudge had the same problem, and I solved it by putting a rug on the bottom of his cage, so he has better...

Its Picture Time!!! All of these are taken with my phone, cause either my camera or the batteries are broken and I dont have enough mind power to figure it out LOL. My phones camera isnt THAT bad though LOL Noming away at hay like a good lil bunny... Gotta keep those molar spurs away...

The reason he is doing all of that is because of his bunny hormones, and I dont think there is a way to stop it other that getting him fixed. Even though it can be a little expensive, getting hormonal bunners fixed is well worth it! :)

Eeek, Ive never head of bunners dieing from raisens before! I thought they where a little better than craisens because they usually dont have added sugar, but I guess I was wrong. Smudge doesnt get more than about 3 craisens or raisens a day (usually less)... That wont hurt him, will it?

So Smudges eye started watering a little, so I called the vet and hopefully they should be all better by Friday. And while Smudge was sedated on Monday, they cut his nails for me... Well, the tech that cut them cut one of his toenails completly off! I KNEW I should have just done it myself! I...

I just give Smudge the Ocean Spray brand ones, but not too many because they have sugar in them. Raisens are a little better :)

Smudge Update- So, we went to the vets today to get him molars looked at, and it turns out he had some spurs after all... Poor guy! He has some blood on the corner of his mouth from getting them trimmed, so he is now my lil vampire bunny <3 Haha! I also had to cut down his pellets so he eats...

OK, so it turned out Smudge had some molar spurs after all :) He did really really good, but I feel kinda bad for him... There is some blood in the corners of his mouth from getting his molars trimmed, and he looks like a lil vampire bunny LOL . I also have to cut his pellets down from 1/4 cup...

I do! I get a bale from the stable I go horse back riding at for $5. It lasts my 2 buns and 2 guinea pigs about 4 months... I LOVE local farms- they save us a ton of money!
