    Breed????????

A New Zealand that old should be about 6 pounds, so I'd rule that out. Kat

Help identify breeds of 2 bunnies please? :)

Dutch from another country will not have exactly the same standard as we do here. By the way, rabbits that are growing in a warm environment will have longer ears since they grow to help cool themselves.... So really the ear length doesn't matter. They've got to be mostly Dutch for markings...

    Silver fox question

Sometimes when you wait until the 8 months or over your does will not breed as easily. I actually find that it is easiest to do between 7-9 months of age.

I don't know what breed my rabbit is...

I think, as a possibility, I may disagree. Though she does look very much like a sable she is very dark. Does the rabbit have an extremely soft and shiny coat? I'm thinking that this may be a dark Copper Satin (not uncommon because many times breeders don't breed the red color back in) that has...

    what breed is my rabbit?

To me it looks like possibly a Himalayan Netherland Dwarf. I can't tell if he/she has a marking on his nose or not though. The point color on the ears it was probably meant to be a Himi Netherland. Kat

    What Am I

Well, offhand I'd say a mix but hard to tell. Is there any sort of extra softness or sheen to the coat? She kind of looks like an agouti gonewrong.... it's hard to tell what she weighs also. Maybe like a chestnut agouti, copper or castor crossed with something else. Honestly, I can't tell. Maybe...

    Silver fox question

I can easily breed my New Zealands and Californians without any stunted growths at 6-7 months depending on the rabbit. I'd say that would be a good figure for you also. Kat

    Silver fox question

Do you mean when they mature or when it is best to start breeding? Many times they can start way before you should for various reasons. . . Kat

I need help with this doe

There is something called Agalactia, it may be a far cry but something to look into. If the babies died with bellies full of milk it may be because of the doe's milk actually containing a bacteria that would kill them. I'm sure you could do a search to find out more.

    What is a peanut?

A peanut is a dwarf (such as your lionhead) that carries a double-dwarfing gene. I'm not sure exactly how it works but I know that they are usually much less developed and are oftentimes born dead. Kat

How many of you clip your buns nails

I clip all of ours. Once you've done, say, a hundred or so it's easy. If you're nervous don't cut much at a time as you get braver you can go closer. I promise, it's ok. Kat
