You sure couldn't live here in Louisiana!!! It's hot as hell most of the time!! But it's the humidity that's the killer--it makes everything so darn sticky!! :P

    Cage issues

I have carpet that I need to keep protected from oopsies and water dish spills so I did this: You know the plastic/vinyl runners you can put in a hallway or under a desk for a chair to roll on? That's what I use! I got a roll that's at least 12' long for under $10. I laid it out on the...

Are flower petals ok for rabbits?

If he bought them from a commercial place, they probably aren't good for him because they have been fertilized and pesticides have probably been used on them. If you grow your own or know someone with a garden that does not use fertilizers or pesticides, then they are great treats!! Mika and...

Pooping in the food tray in cage

Ahhh the young ones tend to do this--they will poop and pee wherever they want to. Try moving the litterbox to that corner or put a second one there. Mine are 4 months now and they still poop all over their cage in addition to the box--they pee solely in the litterbox, though. Go figure. :)...

    New with a question

If you decide not to adopt a bonded pair, getting a pair of littermates would probably be best. As Daisy said, it can be hard to tell the sex of babies, so try to get them as old as possible so you can be reasonably sure. My two girls are littermates, Mika and Sasha. I've had them since...

What are these "weeds"? and are they safe?

HazelMom: Just curious but where do you get all your info on plants? You seem to have such a vast knowledge!!!! I too have several weeds and plants that I know nothing about but would like to look up.

    PUBERTY!

I feel your pain about the bunny that gets out of everything.... Look at this thread about Mika: http://www.rabbitsonline.net/view_topic.php?id=46017&forum_id=1 Btw, GREAT idea with the cat bells. They should be pretty safe too because the cat collars are the kind that break away if...

    Bunny names, and sharing them

I haven't seen any Sasha's or Mika's (pronounced Mee-kah) around. I also have no idea why I gave them those names--they just sort of popped into my head... LOL!

    Mika Is Smarter Than Me!!??!?

OK, so here's the deal... Mika and Sasha have a large 'playgate' that's about 2ft wide and about 5ft long that serves as their cage. It's open at the top only, the sides are all closed. So, they have a nice big cage area that they can even do binkys in! BUT... Mika decided that she no...
