I agree that putting poultry wire down works better than trying to make the fence go 3 feet underground. I have a digger (just found this out) and she has dug about a foot in FROZEN ground. I'd hate to see what she could do if the ground wasn't frozen! Good luck containing your bunnsters :)

I eat a lot of hay. I only get about 1/3 cup of pellets per day. My human owns horses so I just get the loose grass hay that falls out of the big bales. So I'm virtually free to feed :) I do need a lot of space. My hutch should be no less than 4' long x 2' wide x 2' high so I can turn around...

Hello again! I have, in fact, managed to make my digging hole bigger but that darn woman fills it in every time she comes out to see me! And she is still threatening to build me a hutch off the ground. Guess I'd better make requests for my new house before she builds it the way she wants it...

So what do I need to do for Oaks. Just keep a close eye on her to see if she has problems when she kindles? I think I could handle loosing all the babies better than loosing Oaks. Do rabbits usually give birth at night? Do you just keep checking on them every so often?

Just wondering if anyone else on here is in Utah? I've been trying to keep an eye out but haven't seen anyone. Maybe I just have a blind spot:biggrin2:
