    Snickers cam now up!

My fiancee is sick at home and misses seeing our rabbit, so I set up a webcam so she can watch him do what he does. Here is the link: Snix cam Enjoy!

Litter training: Snix is peeing in the litterbox, but not pooing.

I know that they poo to mark sometimes, but snix (neutered male) is generally pretty neat, and will pee in his litterbox. However, when it comes to pooing, he has selected a "poo zone", in which he will sit and do his thing. The Poo Zone is circled in red below: The poos in his litterbox...

Snix has gone into stasis after his neutering

We noticed that Snix was not eating or pooing much after his surgery, so we took him back the next day and the vet confirmed stasis. She provided a powder called "Herbavore critical care", and instructed us to give him 25ml of water mixed with the power 3 times a day. She also gave him a shot...

    Snickers was litterbox trained

As of yesterday, he refuses to use his litterbox. No changes have been made at all. He spends most of his time in his litterbox, but now leaves to urinate in the cage. I'm assuming this is a result of him reaching puberty. He is unaltered, but this will soon change.

Snix doesn't eat much hay like he used to

Snickers still loves his pellets and does nibble on a little hay. It used to be the exact opposite a few weeks ago, with hay being the favorite. Should I be concerned? I haven't changed brands or type of hay, and he devours pellets and runs around and plays like normal.

Rabbitmart.com, Anyone have experience with this website?

Snickers has nearly outgrown his litterbox, as he occasionally sticks his furry rear over the side of the pan and urinates in the cage. He loves hanging out in his litterbox, only he just barely fits in it, and he is still growing! We want one with a wire floor so he doesn't hop around in his...

Snickers likes to pull on the carpet fibers!

We have had Snickers for almost a month now, and we have been able to litter train him with great success. Saturday we let him run and play in the living room for the first time, and he has yet to pee or poo anywhere which is great! He really loves it, and he runs to his cage and into the...

How old before we can give our bunny some treats?

Our bunny is 11 weeks old, and he seems to be growing by the day! Currently his diet consists of timothy hay and pellets. We would love to be able to diversify his palette with tasty bunny-safe treats. What age does he need to be before we introduce new veggies into his diet?

    Grooming

Our bunny, Snickers, is in a cage with a plastic bottom instead of wire, so every day he sits in his night droppings and it gets stuck to the bottom of his feet and his butt. We tried cleaning him with just a wet wash cloth, but we aren't able to get it all off. One reason is because he won't...

    Spaying/Neutering Rabbits

Is it recommended for rabbits to be neutered? Our breeder we got our bunny from said no because they weren't good with anesthesia since they are so small, but I've heard if you don't they become territorial of their cage and males spray. Also, how old do they need to be? I read somewhere that...

    Our bunny, Snickers

Hello! My girlfriend and I are proud 'parents' of our new Holland Lop, Snickers. He is a 2 month old buck who has warmed up to his new home very rapidly. Snickers was purchased from a breeder, and is the son of mom "skittles" and dad "Mr. Goodbar" (i'm not kidding!). Snickers was very skiddish...
