Hi Everyone,Im just wondering if someone can tell me why when I breed two BEW lionheads do I get some babies with red eyes?Shouldnt they be all blue eyed babies? I would appreciate links to sites with good info around this and bew/Vienna genetics if anyone knows of any, Thanks in advance:)

The larger does do seem to cope better with breeding:)

Hey Sabine I would let her choose,Put her in with the buck if she is keen then let her breed if she is not then leave her for a while before you decide.It might have been a difficult birth that made her kindle out of the nest.She is a lovely doe and I know how hard they are to come by here so...

I have an extra bottle for each hutch I keep changing them over and thawing and refilling.Time consuming but I really dont think anything else works Ive tried socks etc but it didnt work.:)

I had an absolute nightmare with this last year and this year we are ready and I really beleive the only answer is to buy an extra bottle for each rabbit and keep swapping them over to thaw out in the house.We tried socks etc but they still froze as the weather worsened:(

Aw they have huge ears already :)
