    Hide outs?

I use cardboard boxes and covered cat litter boxes with blankets in them. The buns seem to enjoy both. Sent from my SCH-I415 using Rabbit Forum mobile app

    Bunny Horror Story

I'm suspicious that a vet even examined or treated that bunny. For some odd reason I don't believe the story. I'm willing to bet the people who owned him were trying to "neuter" him themselves and in the struggle the bunny broke his leg : ( Wonder what will come of the mother and babies...

What crochet animal should I make next?

I voted for a fish. A big old goldfish or a betta would be awesome :)

What's the best way to keep a bale of hay fresh?

I keep mine in the shed on a pallet (so there is air flow underneath) I would keep the hay covered by a tarp if there is a chance of it getting wet. Also keeping it out of direct sunlight is a good idea as well.

    Any improvements needed?

Your crocheted bunnies are adorable! I think its an awesome idea to make them special order and sell them here (we certainly have lot's of bunny lovers who I'm sure would love to have one of their own) :happybunny: P.S. I would love an orange or harlequin one ; )

I don't even want to ask..,

I thought hay was necessary to help keep teeth worn down and to aide in digestion? Ofcourse not much you can do if they refuse but I'm always a bit surprised to hear someone not feeding it :confused2:

    dead bug in timothy hay

I have found small dead snakes in some of my hay bales over the years. It's bound to happen while the hay is being cut and baled. Better to have a bug or two rather than weeds, prickers or mold ; )

Please tell me I'm not an idiot

Fish can and do feel pain, all too often in my opinion. They can make amazing pets if given properr care and living conditions. The one most common mistake people make in fish keeping is not quarantining new fish. We (myself included) have been responsible for causing the death of...

best clippers to use on a rabbit

What about these Andis clippers? http://www.jefferspet.com/proclip-ag2/camid/EQU/cp/AC-H1/cn/25013/ They have a higher stroke per minute than the Oster clippers. And if I remember the Oster clippers got warm fairly quick (although Im not planning on clipping her whole body) I wonder if I...

    Shallow people

I also have suffered with acne (and I wouldnt consider it to be something small especially when it's on your face) it does affect how you feel about yourself. I was eventually diagnosed through a blood test that showed my hormones to be off and was prescribed a daily medication. It is the only...

best clippers to use on a rabbit

I am thinking about buying a pair of clippers to use on my fuzzy lop (she gets matted around her behind and it's hard to keep it clean) I usually just try to brush and seperate the hair then cut it off but I'm getting tired of doing it and Ethel doesn't really appreciate it either :sigh...
