    Need some help

Angieluv, I totally missed your first question. We have been to the vet twice since the surgery. First time vet added 2nd anti-biotic(Baytrl), changed pain meds to Metacam from Buprenorphine (we thought maybe Buprenorphine was upsetting her stomach). And last time we went, vet said that the she...

    Need some help

angieluv, Thank you for your help. Penny is the same right now. We are force feeding her, going on two weeks now. She eats parsley, carrot and grass from our backyard on her own some days. But as soon as we stop force feeding, she stops passing anything.

    Need some help

Hello good people of RabbitsOnline.net, It's been good 3 years since Penny had any troubles at all, but she is in trouble now. - Penny has had a long history of teeth issues. I'll try to summarize it. - In '06 Penny had an abscess in her jaw, which was aggressive (lost 3 teeth). - Penny's'...

Having trouble giving penicillin injections to bunny

The needles we use are 25Gauge(diameter) by 5/8 in (length). These are very very thin, and its like night and day between these and thicker 20 gauge, they go in so much easier.

Prayers requested for Zeus - dental/abscess surgery on Wednesday

After our Penny had her abscess removed, it had to be scraped out, but even though they removed most of it and she was on PenG, some puss would still seep through the cut. What worked was an antibiotic bead that was placed under skin. Just wanted to share that as an option.

How do I pick up my rabbit?

Our Penny is six now and she still hates being picked up. We tried picking her up and holding her a bit longer every time and that didn't seem to work, she is just not having any of it. Molly on the other hand used to jump on my chest as soon as she saw me on the floor for me to hold her.

    Penny will not eat pellets.

I haven't been on for a while, only to comeback and see that my post is first. What a coincidence. That week Penny had it very tough, we hand fed her for about 7 days. But then one day after we made a vet appointment she started to eat hard pellets like nothing is wrong. Mind you that she...

    Penny will not eat pellets.

Penny’s history: * July 06, loose tooth removed. * Aug 06, Jaw abscess on another side, with 2-3 teeth removed. This is the reason for her malocclusion, we have to trim her incisors almost every month. Stopped eating hay, completely. * April 08, Loose tooth removed. New incident: About...

Eating a lot of Care Fresh

2 cups seems A LOT. I mean I can fit SO MUCH greens into just one cup if I really squeeze it. This is really hard to measure. I mean I have a full plate of parsley and it's only 3/4 of a cup. :banghead I so stumped on this whole deal. Because the pellets are they only source of fiber and now I...

Haley wrote: Haley, I won't (tell her that she is fat) hehe. I saw that you mentioned 1/2cup of pellets per day. I actually thought of the same thing and started with that a few days ago. One thing I never understood is how to measure greens. I mean how do I measure 2 cups of a vegetable...

Hello, I want to buy a small animal scale for our bun Penny. Anyone have any idea of which one and where to buy, without giving up an arm and a leg. Thank you.
