    Trio bonding +updates

Major breakthrough, Cora and Milton got all snuggled up together.. AND SHE GAVE HIM KISSES!!!! Guys, call me weird but I could actually cry, all day they haven’t really been interacting and if they were it was nipping or thumping at each other and they’re finally cuddling and grooming 😭🥹

    Trio bonding +updates

Hey everyone, so a little update on my trio, Cora (my doe) has had her dental work done and has had over a week to chill out, (my 3 rabbits were living in pens adjacent to eachother) this morning I started the bonding process at 8:35am, there were a few scuffles but no drawn blood, it’s...

    Trio bonding questions

Yes I get that, although, honestly, my main worry is actually my doe Cora, she is pretty feisty

    Trio bonding questions

I’d also like to add that I have been recommended a few times to get a second female and do a quad instead of a trio because I know that trios can be a risky game. Should I attempt a trio or go for a quad? Because in my circumstance I can afford and have the space for another rabbit, although...

    Trio bonding questions

Hi once again, thought I’d come on and give an update: Milton is officially neutered and is healing amazingly! He has been done for about a week now! Gave Eugene and Cora a “dinner date” just so I could see where we was at in regards to Eugenes temper, he seems to have forgiven Cora and is...

Update on Eugene, Milton and Cora!!

I completely get that, she is a healthy weight and is eating etc perfectly. She is booked in for the end of this month for 2 reasons, my vet told me that her teeth weren’t too bad, only slightly slanted and said that I can wait longer, obviously I turned that down and booked her in to get it...

Update on Eugene, Milton and Cora!!

No, I did mention before that they aren’t “exotic” or rabbit specific vets, it’s the only vet that is within an accessible distance to me

Update on Eugene, Milton and Cora!!

That’s what I thought, I did ask about bringing Eugene but they said no, because she has to be under anaesthetic to get her teeth done so I’ll be dropping her off and picking her up once it’s done, so said there’s no point in bringing him as I’d have to take him straight home.. but thank you...

Update on Eugene, Milton and Cora!!

Only issue is that I’m getting Cora’s teeth done at the end of this month, is that not too long to keep them apart? Like I know I’m going to have to rebond them anyway but over a month seems to long to keep them separated but I suppose there isn’t much point in bonding them now then breaking the...

Update on Eugene, Milton and Cora!!

First of all thank you to everyone who has helped me over the past few days/week with all my rabbit issues!! I am extremely grateful. Especially @Diane R @JBun and @Watermelons So, went to my vet appointment today, Milton is booked in for his neutering on Monday morning next week!! As for...

    Please help!! Aggressive rabbit!!?

I’m sorry for the repetitive commenting, just came to mind, could it be that I’m sick? I suppose it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to why he’d attack Cora over it but, around the beginning of this month is around the time Eugene started acting strange I was in and out of hospitals and I still...

    Please help!! Aggressive rabbit!!?

Also, any ideas on how long I should wait before putting Eugene and Cora together or even if it’s rebonding in a neutral space? I’m prepared for unbonded rabbits with the potential of fighting (Eugene and Milton) it just gave me quite a fright because they have never been aggressive towards...

    Please help!! Aggressive rabbit!!?

I knew it’d be more difficult to bond a trio, I was debating whether to try to bond the three or to wait until Milton is neutered and adopt a prespayed doe and bond them into a quad so there isn’t any being left out, would you say I should do that? I know you mentioned it, but would I be a...

    Please help!! Aggressive rabbit!!?

They’re all separated, Eugene has calmed down, I’m taking them all to the vet tomorrow anyway, so I will request some further health check just Incase and I’m waiting on getting Milton (the new rabbit) neutered, I’ll see what they say tomorrow, thank you and @JBun for the help :)

    Please help!! Aggressive rabbit!!?

They are separated and he has calmed down,I sat with him and he gave me some kisses but I’ll keep them apart, they’re all going to the vet anyway on Monday, so I’ll ask them to run some more test, as I’d rather not risk it and if it comes down to it, I’ll just rebond them :)

    Please help!! Aggressive rabbit!!?

I didn’t buy the new rabbit that I have, I didn’t actually want anymore but it was a life or death situation for him as the precious owner said if I don’t tKe him then either she’ll “set him free” (release him in wild) or take him to be euthanised. He was quite badly neglected and o couldn’t...

    Please help!! Aggressive rabbit!!?

They are both spayed and neutered, and I have a new rabbit in the house, he is 5 months but he isn’t “mature” yet, he hasn’t fully reached that point yet, and they havent been introduced or anything, I assume he can obviously smell him, but this behaviour has been occurring before I even brought...

    Please help!! Aggressive rabbit!!?

From what I’ve read, it seems like the most likely answer is that they’ve had a falling out over something, because it’s not the same as just “spring fever” mounting, he is like targeting him, and has been for a while but it hasn’t got this bad, until tonight, everywhere I’ve read is telling me...

    Please help!! Aggressive rabbit!!?

Baring in mind this is EXTREAMLY out of character for him, he has never bit me or anyone else in the 3years I’ve had him, he is usually the cuddliest sweetest boy buti don’t know where this behaviour switch has come from, yes I do have a new buck in the house that I haven’t bonded in yet, but...
