    It’s very important to get your female rabbit spayed as soon as possible to lower the risk of ovarian tumors. Both girls I have ever had have died of tumors. I think if I got the spaying done earlier for my first baby (I got it at 2.5 years), maybe i wouldn’t have lost her at 3.5 years old 😔

    In the interest of sharing info, ill close this thread out. The vet has advised us that it is not broken or dislocated (X-ray) but she has a very large and quick growing tumor in her chest that has pushed her leg out and likely engulfed the nerves of her leg. We had a vet checkup 2 months ago...

    , fr seeking opinion on what this looks like. I am taking my rabbits to the vet first thing tomorrow when the specialist is on site. If I take her immediately she will be kept overnight to wait for the specialist anyway. She is eating and drinking and does not look currently in huge distress...
