    Rabbit not eating or urinating

Sounds an awful lot like GI stasis. Lightly feel his stomach and look for abnormal lumps.

    Magpie, Wren and Pigeon

One, I love the same theme! Absolutely adorable! I'm a sucker for themes lol. Breeds are hard to say with these rabbits, because they have a mix of features (but you do have two lop mixes) but I can take a guess that their coloring for you. Magpie looks to be a WE (white eared) black, Wren a...

    Slight interest in Breeding

Long haired breeds are a lot of work, but there coats are so nice if cared for properly. I recently read a great article in the ARBA’s magazine about a breeder talking about grooming, I’ll see if I can find the authors name. www.thenaturetrail.com is really helpful for breeding if you would...

    Mom isn't feeding her babies?

I would recommend a calfmanna, black oil sunflower seed (BOSS), and old fashion oat even mixture for the does weight gain. I give all my does calfmanna for three to four days after birth to help with milk production, so it may be helpful to have on hand in the future 😊 Calfmanna has something...

    Greetings from super(Nova)

Such a love, he is! All those toys options he would love. I find that my rabbits love boxes that are just big enough for them to fit in (I had one bunny that was obsessed with his box lol). Other good ideas are apple branches and willow branches/bark. One of my rabbits loves throwing around a...

    What colour is my bunny?

Big facepalm moment on my part. In order to get a harlequin, you need the ej gene. Magpie carries that gene but they also carry the cchd gene instead of the C gene that the harli needs. The frosty is most likely carry cchd because his linage is chinchilla and his color carries the blue(...

Help Finding Vets in Chautauqua County

There is a place about an hour and thirty minutes from that county called Specialized Care for Avian & Exotic Pets. I’ve went there and they did great for me. One of the rabbit’s I raised had her family take her there to get her spayed. She recovered great and is doing really well!

Kits dying and i dont know why

It sounds like the moms aren’t producing enough milk. Dandelion, calf manna, and extra protein pellets (18%) help production. They should have unlimited feed when lactating. For the cold, you can buy litter saver which is just extra fur for the babies in the nest online or at the pet store. That...

Can this Brittania Petite be a show rabbit?

THAT makes so much more sense. I was very confused lol. Here we pose our Britannia Petite's in high compact and our Polish are low compact. Do you pose your Britannia Petite's as high compact as well? And was is the equivalent to an American Polish for you? Man, I sound annoying, I just find...

    What kind of hay?

My rabbits pretty much always get second cut Timothy hay, it's the easiest to buy in bulk (and in my opinion makes them smell better lol). But variety may help him not get bored of the Timothy. Orchard and oat grass are nice ones you could try if you want to mix it up.

    slowly losing good litter habits

I'm late to the conversation, but figured I would give some advice. When my rabbit stopped using the litter box (this was my very first rabbit), my mother and I, found that dandelion root really helped to clear out his bladder and help him back in his habits. Now, I use it when I worry my...

    What breeds are they?

Out of curiosity @Jonas, what standards do you breed to? I'm trying to understand all the different clubs, but I have only ever heard about the ARBA and BRC. Sorry if that's a dumb question!

What breed is this mini lop?

If she has brownish as it kit, she is probably a Black Seal, which probably means she carries the shaded gene. I agree with @CrazyChickenGirl, I prefer to have a pedigree with the rabbit so I don't get any weird color mutations that become unshowable. Even if you don't plan on showing, breeding...

Can this Brittania Petite be a show rabbit?

I'm not really sure, she looks a little thick to show. Linked below is a the ARBA page for Brittania Petite's, but I don't think you would breed from that standard. Britannia Petite

Have anyone seen a netherland dwarf with angora fur type?

I got a fuzzy Netherland Dwarf in one of my last breedings and let's just say I will not be breeding that mix or sire again lol. The rabbit herself is really sweet, but her fur is a nightmare. I think she might be getting guard hair but I'm not 100% sure. She keeps getting mats so she's...

I have a few more, sorry not sorry. I don’t even know what to caption this as: “What is this nasty smelling substance?”

Put your funniest bunny pictures down below!

I have to many to count! Photoshoots are not his thing Indigo’s tongue is caught in the right moment: I will never understand how I always found Indigo in a bind with her babies lol “What these things your taking fur with” “I think I’ll sleep… right here” “No, I is mad at you” he pouts as...

    Breeder vs. Rescue

Sorry to disagree. I raise rabbits and I really believe that getting a rabbit young and bonding and raising him/her young is a gift beyond all. Yes, rescue is a gift to those animals, but honestly, rabbits are a lot different from other animals. I have a few adult rabbits that I got around 2...
