    Can rabbits feel owners stress?

I believe every animal has a right to the best life. I’ve had plenty of pets over the years including two cats I had to bottle feed from three days old until their death at 15. Oreo is the most multi-layered pet I’ve ever had. She has so many layers to her that I am always discovering a new...

    Can rabbits feel owners stress?

Oh and as to the new arrangement I believe she is getting used to it. She only tried moving the litter box four times today. So in my book that is a win. The tunnel on the other hand is not where she wants it so we are trying different places until it is just right.

    Can rabbits feel owners stress?

I realized very quickly that she has character. Like “ringing” the binder clip that holds her door shut when she wants out in the morning. Or throwing her stacking cups or straw ball to get my attention. She also will sit in her veggie plate when it is close to time for her veggies or sit and...

    Can rabbits feel owners stress?

Oh no. She can hold a grudge. She is glaring at me right now because I refuse to move her litter box back to its old place. I built a little alcove to hold it and she doesn’t like it. The second picture is the old size of her pen.

    Can rabbits feel owners stress?

Yesterday evening I managed to do that. Her extra panels for her pen finally came in so I sat on the floor inside her pen fixing it and she was hopping all around me. Up in my lap and chinning the new panels so I think we are good. Right now she is aggravated because I moved her pen to a new...

    Can rabbits feel owners stress?

I should add that I am much more relaxed this afternoon and she is fine. Running around and doing binkies and popcorns.

    Can rabbits feel owners stress?

Yes she is spayed. Ever since the situation with my mom has started I’ve noticed she is a little withdrawn. But if my attitude changed and I felt less stressed she is her usual self. This morning when she piddled I had just gotten off the phone with my mom where we were arguing.

    Can rabbits feel owners stress?

I am currently under a huge amount of stress and even my children have mentioned the tension in the home. This morning Oreo piddled on her stuffed rabbit. This is the first time she has ever done anything like this. She is completely litter box trained. So I am wondering if she can feel my...

    Quick question

Oreo is shedding quite a bit so I am heading out tomorrow to get a comb to groom her with. I know everyone suggests the Hairbuster but, I am wondering if a good undercoat comb for a cat would work as well.

    Bunny is thumping

I have also discovered that my rabbit will thump when she is excited. Like when I bring her greens to her or offer her a treat. It is t a loud thump just a light one but it is always during these times.

    Bunny is thumping

When we got Oreo I had no idea what I was doing. I put down blankets and sheets on the floor and one really thick blanket. The thick one she used as a potty blanket. I just let her run. She would use her litter box, sometimes, when she was in her pen but, when she was roaming she used that one...

    Bunny’s water bowl

I use bowls that I found on sale at Target. They are just regular ceramic cereal bowls but they are too heavy for Oreo to tip over. She likes to put her paws on her bowl as she drinks and the bowl never moves even with her weight on it.

    problem with lavender scented bedding.

I signed it as well. I got lucky. I purchased this by accident once and used it. My bunny likes to eat lavender so I am thankful she didn’t try and eat this. It was a small package and I used it quickly. I was still learning how much to use in her litter box so I was still overfilling it.

    Dehydration

My bunny is a trip. She will put both paws on her dish and drink from it. We always say she is being a lady.

    Dehydration

I bought a ceramic bowl at Target for my rabbit. They were having a clearance sale in the dish aisle and I found the perfect bowl for her water and greens. She cannot tip it over and I always put the water in the corner of her pen.

    Silly question

That’s what I figure. If she doesn’t like it I guess she will pick it out just like she does arugula or watercress.

    Silly question

Ok. I have a silly question for you guys. I always buy my rabbits food in large quantities and store it accordingly. For the lettuce and spring mix that is usually mixed together in a container with water to help keep it fresh. I change the water every two days to help maintain the freshness and...

    2021 Indoor Cages.....add your photo!

This is Oreo’s pen for now. We are expanding it some more but, the additional panels are on back order and we have no idea when we will get them. For now this works. At night we cover the top with a sheet so she can have a dimmer environment. I have replaced her bowls with stoneware bowls and...

    Spaying question

I’d say she is feeling better. This morning I found out she had been redecorating her pen during the night. I’m still keeping her as calm as I can. I’ve pinned a sheet over the top of her pen to keep it dim and to prevent her from trying to jump up. She is eating a lot better and her litter box...

    Spaying question

Yes. She has an Xpen that I put together that is usually 7 by 6 and I have it down to 4 by 4. Each panel is 15 inches wide so for her size it is adequate for now. We are I. The process of buying more panels to enlarge it once again but at the moment the seller doesn’t have them in stock. I gave...
