    What Would You Do?

Thanks Haley. His cage will be well away from Merri and Willow's. So my concern is just exposure to the EC now. Chance will be neutered as soon as I get my income tax check in about3-4 weeks. Thumper will never be neutered, it's just too much of a risk given his age and his odd breathing. The...

    What Would You Do?

Haley, they do all have health problems, but they are also all bunnies that no one wanted because of their health problems. Half of them were either I take them or they were to be euthanized. Willow does have Coccidia, which is clearing up. I'm not talking about bonding him or having him...

    What Would You Do?

Okay, so Merri is positive for E. Cuniculi. Her previous owner claimed she got it at 7 weeks and she's now 6 months. From what I've read, it's no longer in the contagious stages once they show symptoms (but one site said to keep them separated anyways). Merri is in my room, with Willow on the...

    Baby Food

Willow's been eating baby food because he's been real sick with Coccidia and wasn't eating his pellets. I've been buying the Gerber brand and I've gotten organic carrots, banana's, oatmeal banana, apples, vegetable medley (which is some squash and a few other veggies), and the fruit mixture...

Willow Update: Willow is doing wonderfully! At this point, he's acting like hisCoccidia was a walk in the park, LOL. His poops are already firming up,he's got a ferocious appetite and the vet checked in for an update thismorning. I gave him the good news and he was so pleased. He said by...

So it was getting confusing keepingup with 3 different bunny blogs, and then theother two never had a blog yet (bad me!). Ifigured it'd be a good idea to just make one blogfor everybunny so no more separate blogs. Here's the links for Harper, Thumper, and Chance's blogs... Harper...

No, Willow will not be outside at all. To behonest, he won't have any out of cage playtime until his Albon isfinished and he goes back in for a fecal test to make sure it's allgone.

The Sad Story Of Pit Bulls

I feel sad that the innocent ones areeuthanized, but it's not too hard for me to understand why they arebanned. And to agree with it. 3 weeks ago, my friend's neighbor had pit bulls. They were sweet ascould be. Then they got out and attacked a little 10 year old boy whilehe was playing in his...

Pulling an all nighter with a bunny and a heating pad

Nadia and Dawn, that's a good idea!! I'll raise it up with towels so the pad will be touching the bottom of the cage. Kick butt, thanks!

Willow's not playing outside and won't beallowed to play in the same area as the other's until his 10 days ofAlbon is up and he's cleared from the diarrhea. I'll probably getanother fecal done in 10 days to be certain. Any area he does play in (like a sectioned off part of the kitchen)will be...

Pulling an all nighter with a bunny and a heating pad

I just can't pull an all-nighter, it's not even 10pm and I am about to drop. That's why he wanted me to put the heating pad under the cage, but it won't work cause of the way the cage is built. Was hoping for an alternative because I just can't stay awake. I'm ready to fall asleep at the keyboard.

He's housed in my room with Merri, but theyaren't in the same cage. Both vets said, as well as online references, that they have to come in contact with the poo and ingest it to get it.(They actually said the most common form of contraction is for one topoop in the water, contaminate the water...

Pulling an all nighter with a bunny and a heating pad

My vet said that Willow is too weak to regulate his own body temp and that is why he's freezing cold, breathing slow, and has a slower heart beat. That everything slows down when they are sick and his slower breathing is causing his colder body temp. He wanted me to stick a heating pad under...
