Traveling with rabbits for long periods of time

I have flown with my rabbit in the main cabin with me from Hawaii to Massachusetts. In 6 hour segments. I had him in a soft cat carrier so he could go "under the seat in front of me" but I would keep the carrier on my lap for the duration of the flight. I put a puppy pad in the carrier so he...

Moving to a New City | Need Advice/Flying with Rabbits

I have done several long car rides with my rabbit MA to AL and @Blue eyes is absolutely correct. Once my car had been going for a while my rabbit would actually lay down and sleep. He always would always orient himself to lay in the direction of travel so I would seat buckle the carrier in and...

Bunny has these specks on his fur

Yes it was just on the fur. My rabbits fur was so dense I couldn't check the skin level. Ask you vet to take a look under the microscope at them.

Bunny has these specks on his fur

I would ask the vet for the Revolution, my rabbit had mites once and it looked like this. When I took him to the vet the vet couldn't even see them and wouldn't believe me until an assistant backed me up. The vet then took them under the microscope and confirmed mites.

Does anyone have interlocking floor mats for their buns living space? Looking for suggestions

Hello, I use the gym flooring foam mats for my rabbits enclosure and they work out really well. They are dark grey and have raised bumps that really help with traction too. The only issue I had with them is when pellets fell between two mats my rabbit bit out chunks of foam to get at them. He...

    Bonding my rabbits

Once they eat, sleep, lie next to each other or groom each other - bonding was successful. Good luck I have a question about this. I am in the process of bonding two neutered males and they sleep, eat, lie and groom one another (albeit one more than the other) and they still had a fight...

    Marathon bonding boys

They only kept them for a week so not exactly bonding them for me but giving me a headstart. This rescue also does not do exchanges but only in extreme cases, and since my boys only have about 2 or 3 spats a day I doubt they would let me exchange. What is normal then for bonded bunnies? All...

    Marathon bonding boys

Thank you! May I ask what you mean by it's more common than you think? When I left the rescue there were 3 other male/male couples they were bonding so I was hopeful that this would work out. I have been asking the rescue questions but they only get back at me after midnight or randomly so it...

Bonding with my rabbit (NEED HELP)

Hey there, when I tried to bond with my rabbit I would sit on the floor, on his level, and read magazines or books out loud so he would get use to my voice. I left his cage open so he could decide to come out on his own. I would also pretend he wasnt there and or if he approached me I would...

    Marathon bonding boys

Hello, I am working on a bonding process that does not seem to have much in the way of advice online or through my research. I hope folks could share their insight with me. I have a 5 year old neutered rabbit named Wendell and I decided to try to get him a companion. I contacted a local rescue...
