My rabbit is terrified of my new rug.. help?

I ordered a Moroccan rug that's made of real wool (not sure if it's camel or sheep) and when I brought it into my room, my bunny was terrified - he darted under my bed and wouldn't come out for hours. I thought he'd get used to it, especially when I laid down on top of it and held him, and lured...

EMERGENCY - RABBIT ATE BABY ASPIRIN?

My 1 year old lionhead/Holland lop 6ish LB rabbit ate an 81mg coated baby aspirin. His vet can’t see him today because there are other emergencies. Poison control ASCPCA said to monitor him closely. But I’m reading online I could give him charcoal pills??? He’s acting fine now but it was only an...

    Hendrix's stomach is really hard?!?

The lump is not visible in pics, you can only feel it- although it's quite sizable. He's just very furry so its hard to see, and he's moving around a lot so I can't get a clear pic of him regardless.

    Hendrix's stomach is really hard?!?

He is chomping on hay right now and drinking water normally. The first pic of feces is from about 2 hrs ago, second one of the litter box is what he produced in the last 20 min. I gave him 2 1mL doses of 20mg simethicone in the past two hrs.

    Hendrix's stomach is really hard?!?

This is him right now drinking water. He seems to be acting fine. He just pooped like 5 little balls. The lump is still there though.. the only rabbit savvy vet near me has an appointment at 1pm tomorrow. I snagged it. Is that too risky?

    Hendrix's stomach is really hard?!?

Someone please help! He's still eating but not pooping. I want to know if I should call out of work tomorrow right now and take him to the vet first thing in the AM.

    Hendrix's stomach is really hard?!?

I just noticed about 10 minutes ago that Hendrix's stomach is really hard, it feels almost as if there's a big ball underneath his skin. Not quite fully on his stomach, but on the side of it. I'm really worried but unsure if I should rush him to the vet right now (I'm not even sure if an...

Does a 5 m/o rabbit need pellets everyday?

Thank you so much for helping me put my mind at ease!

Does a 5 m/o rabbit need pellets everyday?

I'm freaking out because I accidentally got Hendrix's bag of pellets all wet and I had to throw them out. There's no pet stores around me that carry rabbit supplies - only cat and dog. I placed an order on Chewy for new pellets but it says it should take 1-3 days to come. If I'm feeding him...

Help in sexing my 5mo rabbit (pt 2)?

I finally got some clearer pics of Hendrix's hindquarters. Still not sure of his (?) gender but I think he's a boy from these pics. I also think I can feel tiny testicles under his fur but I definitely can't see them. Is it possible to tell from these pictures? Thanks so much for your help.

Can you guys help in sexing my rabbit?

Yes, he's four months! He doesn't like his stomach being exposed while he's close to the ground on my lap- he prefers loafing. So I can't get him comfy enough to massage his underside without holding him up. When I push down, something definitely protrudes outward, but it looks more akin to the...

Can you guys help in sexing my rabbit?

So I can't see any testicles, and when I apply pressure near the genitals nothing's really moving. But on his tummy I can definitely feel at least one tiny lump under his fur. Not sure if I can feel another one. Do does have any lumps? Is there any way to discern bucks/does in another way?

Can you guys help in sexing my rabbit?

I've had Hendrix since early May- I got him when he was 7 weeks old! I've always just called him a boy, I don't know why. I didn't want to trance him to find out his real gender because I know that can be scary and dangerous for rabbits if not done by a professional. I was planning on waiting...

Is my 8-week old mix a carrier of the dwarf and/or lop genes?

I definitely will! He’s becoming a big boy already. Thanks for the advice!

Is my 8-week old mix a carrier of the dwarf and/or lop genes?

Awesome, thanks! Though I think lops are adorable, I kinda hope Hendrix's ears don't lop because I think they look super cute the way they are now. I thought the same thing about his appearance - I guess it's possible that the pet store guy made a mistake and he's pure lionhead? The other 5...

Is my 8-week old mix a carrier of the dwarf and/or lop genes?

Cool, thanks! Judging by his crown, do you think his ears will lop?

Is my 8-week old mix a carrier of the dwarf and/or lop genes?

I was told in the pet store that he's a first-gen mix between a lionhead and a lop (whether this was a holland lop or a mini lop I'm unsure). He's a bit over 8 weeks old and his ears were super upright until about 3 days ago when they started to get slightly farther apart on his head and flop...

Is a 100% polyester blanket suitable for the bottom of my 7-week old bunny's cage?

Or should I go for no flooring in the cage besides the hay/litter in his litter box? (My hope is to have him comfy but also learning to use the litter box.)

Caring for my new baby lionhead/lop mix

Hi guys, I'm a first time rabbit owner and I picked up my lovely Hendrix from a pet store yesterday. I was told he was a lionhead/lop mix and that he is around 7 weeks old (I found out only today while doing more research that this is a bit too young for the pet store to be selling him, which...
