    Dandelion question

I tried looking for info and cannot find the answer. Dandelion greens are okay in moderation, but are red dandelion greens okay? I never heard of red until I saw it at the store. Thanks.

    Hidey hut found at Target

I found this at Target today. Before I got LB and was buying everything for when she arrived, I got the largest Oxbow hut. When LB joined us, that hut was far to small for a 5 pound (2.3 kg) rabbit. This hut from Target I put a can of cat food in so you can get a feel for the size. $20 USD. The...

    Binky-ing

Came across this article on Twitter. Then I thought to myself, is Roger Teeter doing a binky? 🤣 http://www.simplyrabbits.com/why-do-rabbits-binky/

    Take a bunny quiz

I came across this site with all kinds of facts and bunny info. It has quite an extensive amount of info that is different than most bunny sites. The info is more science class based. Take the quiz... don't get discouraged. 😂😂😂 https://fohn.net/rabbit-pictures-facts/quiz.html...

Please explain the hay journey(?) to me

So you get some hay. Put it in your bunnies hay place. For LB it's in her litter box. She eats some and compresses some into the bedding and poo. Do rabbits eat the hay once compressed down? The stuff on the top anyway. I wouldn't think they'd eat pee-d on hay. Is the non-compressed hay what's...

    Cable/cord wrap

Ikea has 16 feet (4.8m) of white cord protector for $5.99 USD. It's 1 inch (2.54cm) in diameter. That's super cheap compared to the box home improvement stores. It's still cheaper including the $5 shipping. https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/rabalder-cable-organizer-white-20281419/

    Hydroponic/ container gardening

@BunBun71 posted a question about gardening for bunnies. This was timely as the past few days I've been pondering herb gardening for LB. I have pretty much decided on indoor hydroponics. I have come down to 2 systems. One is a homemade system Aerogarden and one is made by the petro gardening...

    Chewing and water thoughts

LB joined the family a bit over 2 weeks ago. Quite a few questions questions answered here, thank you all. Some more questions. I've read a few posts recently about drinking. She doesn't care for Jack Daniels 😂 . LB doesn't drink a lot, maybe 6-8 ounces (200 ml) per day. This concerns me...

    Luna Bunny's Blog

Actually this won't be Luna Bunny's blog as she doesn't type, it'll be a blog about her! 😂 I picked Lu up today from the rescue. It was about a 30 minute ride home. About half way home I stopped at a food truck to get dinner. I checked on her and she was shaking. I didn't see anything to do...

Hi, do the levels look alright as far as distance and spacing? The laptop and litter box are there for reference. Thanks.

What do you think about this mat?

From Ikea. The thing that has me wondering are the black Velcro strips. This thing is designed to be attached to a table leg for cats to scratch on. https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/lurvig-scratching-mat-natural-30377794/ Materials Main parts: 50 % sisal, 50 % jute Hemming tape: 100 % cotton

    Cloth stuff

I got this for inside the carrier. I'd also like to have a couple throughout Luna's crate. Are cloth things items bunnies like to chew?

    Some questions...

Whelp, I finally got off my butt and pushed past my innate characteristic of paralysis by analysis. Yesterday I started getting essentials and toys for a new bunny, 1st one. I got some hay, pellets, litter, pan, stuff like that. This a.m. I was happy with my wire cube crate design and ordered...

    Help with breed please

I tried to use the thread pinned at the top of each category "What breed is my bunny" however it doesn't seem to be working. I am interested in a rescue bunny and she is about 5 pounds. I don't have any other info other than she's 2.5 years old. Thank you.

    Hello

Hi everyone! I'm new to bunnies. I've been reading a lot the past couple of weeks and hope to have a new friend with me within the next 2 weeks. I have my eye on one from a nearby rescue. Hopefully I'll have everything ready before she finds a different home.
