Is it safe for buns to play outside?

That's great, I'm sure you're bun will love it. My buns adore their outside time. I'd recommend some fly spray or pestavert to spray on his/her coat just to minimise the chances of any host pests :) Enjoy!

    Mischevious madam

Hi all, My sister has acquired a female frenchie shes just over 3 months now. She was a little darling at first, but shes turning into quite the madam! Firstly, we both understand that shes coming of age, and the behaviours are natural. She will be getting fixed as soon as shes ready but...

    Castration day :/

My bun is currently at the vets, I pick him up at 5. I felt terrible taking him and leaving him at the vets even though I know he will be fine and its for the best. Just wondered about after care, what's worked for you if you've been through this, and any tips/ advice Thanks in advance :)

    Soft floor cover

Hi! I had the same problem with my bun. You could try some of the following; Sisal rugs (sisal is a natural fiber that buns are able to chew much like hay, sisal rugs will make it difficult for them to chew but also will be safe for them if they do. It's warm and has plenty of grip for...

How much do you feed your giant babies?

thanks, that has helped. When its feeding time I get so worried I'm feeding too much or not feeding enough. My Bruno is a pellet MONSTER and I feel like giving him unlimited pellets would be doing him an injustice for later life. But this has given me a little bit of comfort knowing im feeding...

How much do you feed your giant babies?

Hi all, Just a question about how much you guys feed your giant breeds. I tend to give my young bun the normal plus a 15% of pellets and veggies a day which seems to be ok; he's gaining weight well. I remember researching and couldn't find much on giant breeds and feeding at all. Thanks :)

    Helppp meee

Id definitely separate them now. They both need to be neutered especially if you want them to stay together for the future. Once they are both neutered and their hormones have died down, you can start to bond them the right way. Your vet can give you more advice in detail :)

Grunting at the broom?! Coming of age behaviour?

Hi guys, this may seem like a stupid question to some..... My Frenchie is nearing 16 weeks. I was cleaning out his living quarters like always with the broom and dustpan and brush. He first seems a little more cheery and bouncy (which is great), but he's began to chase/charge maybe? at the...

Urgent! Bunny ate an Altoid Mint!!!!

I'm no expert on this, it's good he's eating and hopefully pooping fine and behaving his natural self. I can only recommend giving your vet a ring and having a chat about it sooner rather than later; you never know, just to be on the safe side. Keep me updated on how it goes! best wishes and got...

Bonding young rabbits? All advice/experiences welcome!

Hi all, I have a 10 week old Frenchie whos due to be neutered mid-March (this is as early as any vets in my area are willing to neuter). It was always my plan to find him a friend to bond with in the future however, the chance to adopt a young doe from a rescue has arisen; which I've taken. I...

    Digestive/Diet issue?

Thank you Blue eyes, Lots of really helpful advice there! I didn't know that about parsley despite me researching it!! I will begin again with greens and take it slower and steadier this time. I will also invest in some simethicone, I've seen this being mentioned over this forum and I think...

    Digestive/Diet issue?

Thanks, Theo, it was a scare! I'll definitely swap him over shortly then. He's still currently happy and hoppy and eating, his poops are lightening in colour. I will keep an eye on him, and yes I was waiting for him to stop eating or drinking before I took him to the vet but he didn't which...

    Digestive/Diet issue?

Hi all, I'm very new to being a bunny mum and to these forums so I'll try and keep it short and simple. I had a slight scare with Bruno; my 10-week old Frenchie 2 days ago. In the evening, he started to pant and press his belly to the floor, his whole behavior changed. At first, I thought he...
