Change in original bunny after bringing home new bunny

He seems to have perked up a little bit. So it could have been the vaccination. But we shall see. I think i may delay the next lot until the end of the month since it took him over a week to settle from the last 2.

Change in original bunny after bringing home new bunny

Thank you for your replies :-) Myrtle (my new bunny) is 8 months. However she had just had a litter that where 8 weeks when I collected her. So I have to wait for her milk to dry up before spaying (which should be now). She isn't hormonal surprising for an unspayed bunny. I think the breeder...

Change in original bunny after bringing home new bunny

Just under 2 weeks ago I brought home a female bunny to bond with my current bunny Finn. My original bun is neutered however the female is in a separate crate (with cardboard around the bottom) awaiting a spay before the process begins. Both appeared to be very interested in one another...

    Finn and New Bunny Myrtle

I have made a few posts on here, and not introduced Finn yet. Finn is a Mini Lop house bunny, his 6 months and he is Incisor'less. His actually been through quite a lot. He had to be neutered very early as he was incredibly hormonal, then he injured his leg, then he needed he teeth filing...

    Bonding Question - Age

Thats all very well if you have the space :) I am going to be getting a proper pen which is much cleaner and safer for the rabbits. I do have NIC grids but they are not very stable, look awful and not very clean. Actually the size I am looking is a decent space and the rabbits will be...

    Bonding Question - Age

Thanks! There is always a worry with that kind of gap though -- but its always good to know! Do you think I should try and bond him sooner rather then later? I was going to leave it until summer when there was more choice, but then i would probably need a couple of months bond time on top of...

    Bonding Question - Age

That would be ideal, but I cannot rescue as my indoor pen is 3ft x 5ft (maybe a bit bigger) just under what they allow. Finn is mostly free range but until the new bun is house broken they will need a pen and run.

    Bonding Question - Age

Hi There - its been a while since i used forums! I have a Mini Lop male named Finn (neutered), that recently lost his sister, Patience. When I say recently I mean only a couple of weeks ago, which was really upsetting for me as I believe this was the result of neglect from the boarding place...

    need advice

Hi, I think my rabbit Toby has had another stroke last night and is not really able to use his back legs. Before I make the decision to have him put to sleep I would like to see what my options are and what I can do. When I got up this morning he looked twisted, with his back legs leaning to...

Great to see another bunny forum around. I am Emma and I am from the Surrey, UK. I have a rabbit called Toby aged 14 years. His a magpie cross, however he looks very much like a chinchilla breed (as you can tell from my av). We run a forum dedicated to older rabbits because they are so...
